I graduated in 2021 from the University of Bristol with a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics (MSci), in which I focussed mainly on statistics and probability modules. In my final year project I explored the compuational tractability and forcasting ability of various techniques within Approximate Bayesian Computation (ABC) applied to modelling the COVID-19 Epidemic. Areas that I am particularly interested in include Sequential Monte Carlo methods and simulation-based inference in general. I am keen to find a real-world application for these kind of methods that benefits society.
