TrueSkill at Microsoft Research: From whiteboard math to Halo Infinite

I will talk about my experience applying statistics and machine learning to Microsoft products.  Using TrueSkill as an example, I will describe how I apply the power of statistical thinking to solve real-world problems, what it is like to build a service used by millions of people, and what product teams care about.
