At the end of TB2, Compass students in their first year will be giving 15 minutes presentations explaining their Mini-project topic to a general audience, and describe the key challenges, in practice.

The mini Project gives students the opportunity to explore a potential PhD topic, selected from a list made available at the start of TB2. The idea is that students get experience on working in a research environment on a project with an adviser. This might then become their full PhD project, or it might not.

Compass students, staff, supervisors and industrial partners will be attending the presentations on 1 June 2022 in Fry Building.
