11th July 2022
14:00 - 15:00

Fry Building, Fry Building, Woodland Road, Bristol BS8 1UG

Anita Nandi, Senior Data Scientist

“Trilateral Research: Combatting societal issues with data science”

At Trilateral Research we develop ethical technological solutions to help societal problems. In this talk we will give an overview of some of the projects we get involved in and some techniques we use, including classification using neural networks, topic modelling, and sentiment analysis.

Anita is a Senior Data Scientist currently working on our CESIUM product, which combines siloed data from multiple agencies in Lincolnshire into a single data model, enabling AI-driven risk assessment of child exploitation, as well as network and timeline analysis. CESIUM will be used by a variety of safeguarding professionals as a tool to support their prioritisation and investigation.
