DataScience@work seminar: Improbable

We’re excited to welcome speakers from Improbable to the next DataScience@work seminar.

Patrick Cannon (Research Scientist)

Patrick will be giving an insight into Improbable and their Research team, as well as an overview of some of his recent work on likelihood-free Bayesian inference for large simulators.

Rory Greig (Senior Research Scientist)

Rory will be discussing his path to industry research, and describing two of his recent projects; aiding the Rapid Assistance in Modelling the Pandemic (RAMP) initiative, for which he was awarded an early career investigator award by the Royal Society, and another on the developing area of program synthesis.
