We are thrilled to be welcoming you to join our first event of the year next Friday!
As the weather gets sunnier, we know the last thing you want to do is spend more time in front of a screen (especially on a Friday!) so we have set up 3 15-minute talks with 5 minutes of questions for each, to keep it light, interesting and accessible. Overall the event will last 1 hour and will feature:
- Shining light on the dark sector (Maciek Glowacki – University of Bristol)
- Optimising neural network structures using Evolutionary Algorithms (Ben Winter – Bangor University)
- Old and New techniques in Bayesian Inference with Intractable Likelihoods (Mauro Camara Escudero – University of Bristol)
